About Us
The KETTLE MORAINE RAILROAD HERITAGE ASSOCIATION INC. was founded in 1975. We are a non-profit, educational organization whose purpose is to further the hobby of railroading, both model and
prototype. This includes the history of railroading in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
The association uses a modular N Trak and HO modular layout for shows and other public displays. All material for
the association layouts are either donated or purchased by the association. Our only sources of funds are donations,
members dues, and proceeds from shows, displays, and other fund raising activities. All meetings start
at 7:00p.m. on Wednesdays or Sundays. Visitors are more than welcome to attend any meeting. Please see our "Timetable"
for dates and location.
Do you know that an approaching train is closer and moving faster than you think? Do
you realize that a train traveling at 55 miles per hour will take a mile or more to stop after emergency brakes are applied?
Get the facts, fast!

Our association is a member of both the NMRA (National Model Railroad Association) and
AMRC (Association of Model Railroad Clubs). The NMRA promotes the hobby of model railroading on a national level through its
regional groups. Our association is in the (WISE) Wisconsin SouthEastern Division. AMRC is a organization of about 15
model railroad groups in the SE Wisconsin area that provides a bond between those individual groups. Both organizations assist
in the promotion and recognition of railroad groups, and help us plan shows, clinics, operations, and aid us in the promotions
of our own activities.
